BETTER LATE THAN NEVER

I was so excited that my mom has been doing so good that this blog is running late. I had been not able to sleep because of worrying so much I took naps and the days just all ran together. I realize this blog is 3 days late, but I hope you still enjoy it.

As you all no my mom went into the hospital with covid 2 weeks ago. She has been improving each day. She has her good days and her bad one. We have talked almost everyday on FaceTime. I really look forward to talking to her.

Another thing that has happened because of this is I have talked to my older sister practically everyday since my mom went into the hospital. I really like talking to her. She makes me laugh. The thing that made me so happy one day was I called her to see how she was doing, because she was the one that was going to see my mom in person each day. I knew this had to be ruff, because we are not used to seeing my mom in the state that she is in. That day, I told my sister she didn’t have to go through all this alone. I said to her, “You have 2 sisters and to brothers (her brother in-laws).” When I said it I totally forgot about Jennifer my wife as being her sister. She then said, “I have a sibling too.” This really made me so excited. She is getting it and she is trying her best to get it right.

Another thing that happened was I was talking to my mom and she mentioned she might just let her hair go gray. I told her that I think I might do mine dark purple, For those of you that don’t know my hair right now is a pink color. But when I told her I was gonna dye it dark purple she shook her head and said, “my child”. I know that she wasn’t aware that is what I wish she would use instead of daughter, but when she says this it makes me feel so good inside. So hopefully one day it will become the norm.
